Protest Hits the Highway-Courtesy of New York Times, July 13, 1999

"About 900 people converged on Interstate 70 in St. Louis yesterday, calling for more highway-construction jobs for minority workers and contractors. The protest stopped traffic for an hour, and about 200 people, including the leader of the protest, the Rev. Al Sharpton, were arrested.
